Asiainsurancejobs.com Pte Ltd’s Terms of Business
1. General
1.1. Our terms are deemed as accepted by the registered employer (“client”) in discussions
regarding employment of any person, "candidate" which Asiainsurancejobs.com Pte
Ltd (“AIJ”) has introduced.
1.2. Our introduction occurs when we have initiated the idea, by suggestion or disclosure,
of a potential candidate to a client or vice-versa, or by selection from the AIJ
database. This may have been effected electronically, verbally or in writing.
1.3. Should a candidate whom we have introduced to or selected by a client, nominate
one or more other candidates to the client, our fees would also apply for any other
such candidate who is subsequently employed within six months from our initial candidate
introduction.
1.4. Our fee applies whether the candidate is employed directly, reapproached or
referred to another department or company in the group within six months of the
most recent meeting with the candidate organised through us.
2. Fee Basis for Contingent Searches
2.1. Our fee of 10% for assignments is based on the agreed annual cash remuneration
of any person whom you or your company employs further to our nominating their possible
candidature, or as a result of their proposing any other individual.
2.2. The annual cash remuneration includes gross salary, and the gross amount of
any guaranteed cash bonuses or other guaranteed cash elements that make up the first
years’ minimum agreed remuneration package but shall exclude any performance related
bonus.
2.3. Our fees are due and payable in full within 30 days of the satisfaction of
any pre-employment conditions stipulated by the Client.
3. Guarantees
3.1. Our guarantee of 1 month (one month) of employment by the candidate shall apply
only if our fees are paid in accordance with paragraph 2.3. We shall refund the
fees / find a replacement candidate as the case may be according to the following
schedule:
- if the candidate does not commence work or, of his own volition, ceases to work
for you within one month of the commencement date we shall refund the fee in full;
or
- if, following the first month, but prior to the end of the three month period
following the commencement date the candidate is released for any reason other than
organisational redundancy or restructuring, we shall find you an acceptable replacement
candidate at no further cost within a period of three months; failing which we shall
then reimburse you for an amount pro-rated for the number of weeks the candidate
has not worked within our three months guarantee period.
4. References
4.1. Whilst we endeavor to ensure that information and curricula vitae are accurate,
we cannot be held liable for errors or omissions and strongly recommend that references
be taken up.
